Break up the winter blues! Are you looking for a fun way to get some exercise? Would you like to learn something new with/about your partner?
Get off that couch and put your dancing shoes on!

This is our beginner workshop – everything you’ll need to start dazzling your friends at the next wedding or holiday party you attend.

Classes will be progressive, starting with the absolute basics and presenting new skills each week, building on the last.  There will be plenty of time to practice new moves at the end of each lesson.

Wear comfortable NONGRIP shoes and Dress Casual.

Social Dancing as done in the Swing Era was a ‘lead and follow’ activity.  These classes will focus on the lead and follow connection with your partner as well as the basic steps for East Coast Swing and Charleston Lindy, otherwise known as “the Jitterbug” and “the Charleston”.  Mike and Wendy have been dancing for ten years and provide a playful and non-threatening atmosphere in which to learn and have fun.
