Beginner Lessons
Learn the basics of swing dance at our weekly beginner lessons, held from 7:30–8:30 on Saturdays at The Green Door prior to our open dances. Tuesdays are now devoted to teaching. Intermediate lesson 7-8, Beginner lesson 8-9. Each lesson will cover the basic footwork and patterns, as well as several beginner to intermediate moves. Our Instructors rotate each week and the content of the lessons vary so that you are sure to learn something new each time. With their guidance you will learn to find the beat, to execute dance patterns, to adopt social dance etiquette, and to find perfect dance connection. You are sure to jump from beginner to intermediate faster than you can rock-step!

Admission $8/6 includes admission to the drop-in lesson and dance. No partner is needed.

Workshops
Our club hosts special workshops, generally geared toward intermediate to advanced dancers. The quality of instruction is as good as you will find anywhere, as we often invite world-class dancers to teach us their dance of expertise. Past workshops have included instruction in East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, West Coast, Balboa, Charleston, and Blues. Keep an eye on our events calendar for upcoming workshop details.

Private Lessons
Several of our local instructors are available for private lessons in East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, West Coast, Balboa, Charleston, or Blues. Instructors meet in the studio and most will charge around $40 an hour for private instruction.
