Swing Into Spring Workshops with Lia Brown

Lia is currently an All-Star level follow on the WCS competition circuit, and winner of the 2018 Rising Star Tour. She has been teaching partner dance for almost ten years. Lia has training in modern, hip hop, jazz, west and east coast swing, charleston, lindy hop, and blues. She has taught lessons and workshops in over ten different states across the US, and in international locations such as Germany and Brazil. She can’t wait to share her knowledge and dance philosophy with all of you! Classes during the day include:

10am-11:15am

Fantastic Frame: This isn't just frame 101, folks! Kick your dancing level up several notches by learning some trade connection secrets.

11:15am-12:30pm

Karaoke: Dancing feels best when we use our energy in the most efficient manner possible. Take this class to give any genre of dance an easier, connected feel.

2:00pm-3:15pm

Cool Musical Ideas: It is all about the musicality in this class! Learn how to develop new ideas and work with your partner to make them reality.

3:15pm-4:30pm

Unlock West Coast Swing: Geared toward east coast and lindy hop dancers. Unlock the wonderful world of West Coast Swing by learning what makes it different from its' related dances, what makes it the same, and how to get that classic West Coast feel.
