Krystal started her swing dance journey at the Green Door as a high school student back in 2006. Since then, she has traveled to various cities and venues to dance and learn multiple styles of (swing and non-swing) dance. She started teaching beginner lessons at the Green Door in 2009, and first joined the Board of Directors in 2011.

 

When she isn't on the dance floor or working one of several jobs, Krystal can be found doing yoga, martial arts, maintaining her 3,000+ day Duolingo streak, tackling her ever-growing TBR pile, going on adventures with her energetic black lab, or watching K-dramas and C-dramas with her cats.
